STRATEGIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Membership Coordinator serves as the primary positionresponsible for administrating Altru, membership communication, and scheduling& managing field trips, birthday parties, and other rentals.  Additional responsibilities include assistingwith development duties.  This position willsplit time between the front desk and administrative office.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Manage and StrengthenMembership Program (50%)

·      Interact with all visitors in a friendly, professional manner, deliveringexemplary customer service.

·      Update, organize, and maintain CRM system (Altru)

·      Develop and deliver a regular and consistent communicationplan with members, including the renewal process.

·      Print and mail all membership cards to members.

·      Design instructional aides for museum staff tofacilitate use of Altru.

2.    Oversee Field Trips, Birthday, Private Rentals (25%)

·      Coordinate the scheduling of Birthday Parties,Private Rentals, and Field Trips

·      Facilitate external communications, processtransactions, and provide strong customer service to ensure a positive experience.

·      Coordinate details for private events/rentalbetween renters and museum staff.

3.    Assist with Donor Stewardship (15%)

·      Provide administrative support to fundraisingefforts through the processing and timely acknowledgment of gifts.

·      Oversee donor benefit fulfillment.

·      Maintain donor information & transactions inAltru.

4.    Manage allaspects of Make Shop inventory & Sales (5%)

·      Develop and maintain relationships with MuseumShop vendors.

·      Manage and control Museum Shop inventoryexpenditures within approved budget.

·      Manage and design Museum Shop layout/staging,pricing, and inventory in Altru software.

·      Manage inventory shipping and delivery andrestock inventory in Museum Shop

 

 

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS (5%)

1.    Assist CEO &Staff with Other Special Assignments

·       Assist CEO with preparing monthly board reports.

·       Assist CEO with preparing data for grant reports.

·       Assist with special events.

2.    Perform Other Dutiesand Assignments as Assigned by Supervisor.

Other Requirements:

1.    Must have access to own transportation.

2.    Must be able to efficiently operate a computer.

3.    Must be able to function in fast-paced,ever-evolving environment.

 

RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:Must maintain regular contact with Admin team, CMEC program staff, toreceive/provide information, discuss progress or issues, explain or interpretguidelines, instruct and advise or counsel.

External:Maintain professional contact with community members, caregivers, and others toassist in resolving situations and reporting any conflict to the OperationsManager and/or CEO.
